Ernie and Marilyn have arrived safely at Thursday Island where they will be
effecting repairs to their depth sounder and spending time with Howard and
Glynnis of the missionary vessel MV Christian, before leaving for Daru PNG.
Don White, their crew for the last leg from Bowen, is flying home tomorrow.
SV Grace II in Vanuatu
Des and Merleen have had their bikes, their main
transport, stolen in from the home base island of Santo. The appreciation of
their ministry by the nationals is evident in the response of the local church
community and police, who are searching for them.
Pastor Dick has organised a crusade into the
remote highlands of Santo for when the weather abates and the roads become
passable.
Technical Support for MV Mercy Links
Our radio technician Grant Smith and engineer John
Luscombe returned home from New Zealand on Friday after installing the
communications aboard the YWAM ship, Pacific Link. Pacific Link will be in
communication through Coastlands during her commission as a hospital and
discipleship training vessel in the South Pacific.

heading up into the northern islands of Vanuatu.
