Directors Cut

It is always challenging when so much is happening around you.  The other day I was complaining about things that were getting under my skin. My teenage daughter Krystal said to me "Stop complaining and start praising"  She then started to give me a lecture on getting my attitude right.  I thought well she must have learnt something right from me.  Complaining never fixed anything.  I have learnt that we have to cry out to God to change things. (Psa 61:1-2 NKJV)  HEAR my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Blind Bartimaeus was one that cried out to Jesus for mercy.  Everone tried to shut him up but he cried out even more.  Plenty of people will try to shut us up but if we are believing for a miracle we need to cry all the more. Bart did and he got his miracle. He received vision.  He could see clearly the way to walk.
We need to see clearly to avoid the hidden dangers, and we need to be able to see clearly the vision and the work The Lord has for us.  I hope you are able to achieve Gods purpose for your life and when you feel overwhelmed cry out to Him and receive your miracle and get on with it.

SV Grace II - Revival in Big Bay, Santo Vanuatu

The previous 4 years of sowing into the Islands of Vanuatu is this year reaping a huge harvest. Pastor dick of the Calvary Chapel Church in Luganville Santo is travelling with Grace II to some of the churches on Des and Merleens route which are difficult to access by land. Big Bay on the north of Santo Island is extremely isolated and the people live a traditional custom lifestyle. The reception to the combined outreach ministries of Pastor Dick and the practical ministry of Des and Merleen has seen many salvations, rededications and healings.

Special Effects

Is currently holed up at Lizard Island North Queensland waiting for the current strong trade winds along the East Australian coast to abate. An estimated 1 week of travel will see them reach Thursday Island from where their crew will fly home and they will clear customs to head into Papua New Guinea. Ernie, Marilyn and Don are well and in good morale and very happy with the performance of their 34foot sloop 'Special Effects', the gift from their church family in the USA.

SV Shekinah

Heather has flown over to join Tom after Shekinahs comfortable and reasonably uneventful ocean crossing to Vanuatu. They have been spending time establishing relationships with the local ministry leaders in Port Villa and will be heading north through the islands early next week.

SV Evangelos

The Yacht Evangelos skippered by Ps Michael Ningi has arrived back in Port Morsby to a great welcome celebration. The excitement and appreciation from those at the Bethel Church and Bible college is contagious. The ship in rescue orange with the PNG bird of paradise on her bows, and new engines and sails is ready to continue with her work as a rescue vessel, searching for lost souls.

MV Christian

Howard and Glynnis have returned to Thursday Island to attend to family matters, after only a few weeks in Daru PNG . The reception and the needs in the Daru church have inspired them to gather relief aid goods and ministry support materials while waiting on Visas to re-enter Daru.

SV Liberty - Papeete Tahiti

After long waits on parts and much divine providence with mechanical help, Liberty is again continuing her journey westward towards Fiji to establish the AM Christian radio station with Pastor Poati. Dave and Tana are at sea heading for Moraya at approx 149'W. You can track their progress at http://www.pangolin.co.nz/Yotreps/tracker.asp?ident=VKQ943LI
