"Decisions to Disciples”   Strengthening the Local Church

The GREAT COMMISSION charges us to go and “make disciples ” of Christ. Too often we see “decisions ” for Christ only later to find His seed devoured, withering away, or choked out. What can we do to see decision-makers become strong disciples for Christ?

The five-fold ministry gifts listed in Ephesians 4 :11 are given to equip the saints for the work of the ministry in order that the body of Christ be built up until we all come into the unity of the faith, even the fullness of Christ.

This Summit’s aim is to help equip us with the tools to effectively build upon the sure foundation of the Apostles and Prophets where Jesus is the chief cornerstone.

This year our focus is firstly, to prepare ourselves for the work of the ministry and secondly to be equipped so we are, as the Apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 9:2 4 -27, running to win and not fighting ‘as one who beats the air.’

Towards this goal, we are bringing together those on the forefront of the current move of God; ministries who will not only inspire you, but also help equip you for the work of the ministry.

Pastor Jack Hanes, our keynote speaker this year often quotes Dr. Albert Schweitzer, “ I don’t know what your destiny will be, but one thing I know; the only ones among you who will be really happy are those who will have sought and found how to serve.

”This annual event is being held at Bowen Christian Family Centre in Bowen, Tropical North Queensland.
